Volleyball Recap: Goshen Eagles vs. Ariton Purple Cats
Goshen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Ariton Purple Cats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10.
Goshen's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Ariton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-9.
Goshen will challenge Ariton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ariton is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. They have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against New Brockton on the 7th.
