Basketball Recap: Heritage Hall Christian Takes a Loss

Heritage Hall Christian won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were outmatched by the Community Christian Eagles and fell 69-38. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

Community Christian found their leader in freshman Abel Parsley, who went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points and six steals. Parsley is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Briscoe, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 17 points and five boards.

Heritage Hall Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Community Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Heritage Hall Christian will head out on the road to take on Colonial Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Community Christian, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Community Christian Eagles face off against the Calvary Christian EAGLES at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
