Soccer Recap: Passaic Valley Comes Up Short

Passaic Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wayne Hills Patriots. While losing is never fun, Passaic Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Wayne Hills are ranked 116th).

Passaic Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Wayne Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4-1.

Passaic Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against West Milford on the 8th. Wayne Hills has also already played their next match (against Ramapo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
