Volleyball Recap: Newport Harbor Find Success

Newport Harbor's tournament run continued when they took on St. Mary on Friday. The Sailors came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sailors.

St. Mary's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Rachel Nemee, who had nine digs and one assist, and Olivia Gutierrez, who had five digs.

Newport Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for St. Mary's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Newport Harbor has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against San Clemente on the 6th. As for St. Mary's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Murrieta Valley on the 5th.
