It was a good run, but Columbia unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 68-45 to the Selah Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Coyotes have suffered since January 5, 2024.

Columbia's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3. As for Selah, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Columbia and Selah should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Columbia (ranked 76th) will meet DeSales (ranked 213th) at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Selah (ranked 48th) will meet Othello (ranked 235th) at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
