Volleyball Recap: Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Takes a Loss

Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 21-25, 25-14, 25-9.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy found their leader in sophomore Daniel Duarte, who had 29 assists. Those 29 assists set a new season-high mark for Duarte.

Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Los Angeles Leadership Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

After both having extra time off, Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus and Smidt Tech will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Los Angeles Leadership Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions challenge New Designs University Park Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
