Hockinson was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Graham Learing did his best to prevent it. Learing turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Learing and Hockinson will head out to take on R.A. Long at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
