Seton had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the North Cross Raiders. Philip Vander Woude was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Cross fell to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Woodberry Forest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Cross, they will venture away from home to face off against Southwest Virginia Academy at 5:00 p.m. on September 5.
