Basketball Recap: Effingham Comes Up Short

Effingham played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Mt. Zion Braves, falling 55-24. The Hearts have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Effingham's loss dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Mt. Zion, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Effingham nor Mt. Zion have any future games scheduled.
