Football Recap: Carney-Nadeau Drops Season-High Score on Brimley

Carney-Nadeau lost against Brimley back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves took a 22-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bays. On the bright side, the 14- point effort marked the Wolves' highest-scoring contest to date.

This is the second loss in a row for Carney-Nadeau and nudges their season record down to 1-5. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 23 points in those games. As for Brimley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carney-Nadeau will face off against North Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be up against the Nordics' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brimley, they will square off against Rapid River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
