Recap: Silas Rams vs. Spanaway Lake Sentinels
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount Si, the Silas Rams were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 64-63 photo finish over Spanaway Lake. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Tyson Parker was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Antione Vallarde-larkins, who scored 12 points.
The win got Silas back to even at 9-9. As for Spanaway Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
Silas will be playing at home against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Lincoln's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Spanaway Lake, they will head out on the road to take on Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakes knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Spanaway Lake likes a good challenge.
