Soccer Recap: Dwyer Comes Up Short

If Dwyer was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Palm Beach Gardens last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dwyer Panthers fell 3-1 to the Spanish River Sharks on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Sharks are ranked 41st).

Dwyer's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-3. As for Spanish River, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Dwyer nor Spanish River have any future games scheduled.
