Recap: FAU High Owls vs. Sports Leadership & Management Giants
This season hasn't been kind to the FAU High Owls, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They received a tough blow on Monday as they fell 70-52 to Sports Leadership & Management. FAU High was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sports Leadership & Management apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
FAU High's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Samuel Joseph, who scored 23 points, and Jackson Britton who scored 16 points. The match was Joseph's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
FAU High bumped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. FAU High will take on Greenacres Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Greenacres Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Tuesday. As for the Giants, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cobras at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (the Cobras are ranked 624th, while the Giants are ranked 638th).
