Basketball Recap: Northern Lebanon Comes Up Short

If Northern Lebanon was feeling good fresh off their 77-38 takedown of Biglerville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northern Lebanon Vikings fell 49-36 to the Ephrata Mountaineers on Saturday. The match marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Northern Lebanon dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ephrata, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Northern Lebanon will square off against Susquehannock at 4:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Ephrata, they will head out to challenge Warwick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
