Baseball Recap: Immanuel Christian Gets the Win

Immanuel Christian lost to Quantico back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. Immanuel Christian walked away with a 6-3 win over Quantico.

Immanuel Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Baxter, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Isaac Pinkley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Immanuel Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Quantico, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Immanuel Christian will be playing at home against Randolph-Macon Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for the Warriors: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while the Yellow Jackets have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Quantico, they will venture away from home to square off against Front Royal HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
