Softball Recap: Andrew Jackson Takes a Loss

If Andrew Jackson was riding high fresh off their 16-1 takedown of South Pointe last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Andrew Jackson Volunteers fell just short of the Lugoff-Elgin Demons by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday. The loss was the Volunteers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Andrew Jackson fell to 2-1. As for Lugoff-Elgin, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrew Jackson will host Parkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lugoff-Elgin, they will welcome West Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Florence will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lugoff-Elgin surely won't give up without a fight.
