Blanchard waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They never let the Elgin Owls onto the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

Kylee Coy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Blanchard got a big performance out of Peyton Hector, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was KJ Scott, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Elgin's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Altus' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
