Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Carmel's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Carmel's game on Tuesday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 44-37 win over the Buffalo Grove Bison. The Corsairs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bison, too.

Carmel is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-14 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Buffalo Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Carmel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-28 victory against Saint Viator on the 29th. As for Buffalo Grove, they will be playing at home against Elk Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Buffalo Grove is facing Elk Grove at the right time seeing as Elk Grove is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
