Baseball Recap: Ansonia Comes Up Short

Ansonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 10-5 to the Milton-Union Bulldogs.

Cainan Robinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Ansonia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Milton-Union, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ansonia will head out to challenge Celina at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milton-Union, they will venture away from home to face off against Anna at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
