Volleyball Recap: Calexico Mission Comes Up Short

Calexico Mission was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the West Shores Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.

Calexico Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for West Shores, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calexico Mission is set to take on their familiar foe Holtville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Shores will face off against rival Brawley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
