Jones is 8-1-1 against King since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Jones Trojans will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the King Brahmas at 6:00 p.m. Jones will be strutting in after a victory while King will be coming in after a defeat.

Jones' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Santa Gertrudis Academy 3-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, King was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Calallen, falling 8-0.

King has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Jones, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything went Jones' way against King when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Jones made off with a 3-0 victory. Will Jones repeat their success, or does King have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
