There's no place like home for Rushville-Industry, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pittsfield Saukees on Monday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rockets as it put an end to their seven-match losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Rushville-Industry got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-23.

Devin Vogler paced Rushville-Industry's offense, picking up 15 kills. Vogler got some help from Italee Ford and her 26 assists. Vogler also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lainy Greer, each putting up two.

Rushville-Industry's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Pittsfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-5 record.
