Basketball Recap: Quantico Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Quantico extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the Tandem Friends Badgers, falling 96-28. The Warriors lost against the Badgers in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 59-40 score last time.

As for Tandem Friends, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Tandem Friends' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sean Tyler, who posted 13 points. Derion Gardner was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Tandem Friends will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wakefield Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2026. Quantico will be paying especially close attention to the Badgers' matchup: after the Badgers face off against the Owls, they'll take on Quantico again at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2026.
