Sapulpa waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Victory Christian Conquerors. The Chieftains have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Conquerors, too.

Sapulpa's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Victory Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 12-5 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sapulpa will square off against Southmoore at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chieftains are facing the SaberCats at the right time seeing as the SaberCats are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Victory Christian, they will head out to square off against Bixby at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
