You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Harding's strategy against Buckeye Central on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Skippers blew the Bucks out of the water with a 47-6 final score. With the Skippers ahead 28-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Harding's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brady Lawson led the charge by throwing for 294 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Those 294 passing yards gave Lawson a new career-high. Abraham Castellano helped Lawson out on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries.

The win was the third in a row for Harding, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 39.0 points this season. As for Buckeye Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding will venture away from home to take on Cardinal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Buckeye Central, they will head out to challenge Bucyrus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bucks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
