Basketball Recap: Reservoir Comes Up Short

Reservoir fought the good fight in their overtime game against Winters Mill on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 44-42.

Despite the loss, Reservoir still got an impressive performance from Kai Lewis, who posted 14 points and three steals. Kellen Whitaker was another key player, putting up five points in addition to nine boards and four blocks.

Reservoir dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Winters Mill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Reservoir will be home for the holidays to greet Howard at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Winters Mill will take on Manchester Valley in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
