Basketball Game Preview: Fairless Falcons vs. Loudonville Redbirds

The Fairless Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Loudonville Redbirds at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Fairless is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-26, which was the final score in Fairless' tilt against Northwest on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while the Indians are ranked 137th).

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Loudonville's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 42-35 to West Holmes.

Fairless' loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Loudonville, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.

Fairless beat Loudonville 65-52 in their previous meeting back in February of 2017. Does Fairless have another victory up their sleeve, or will Loudonville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
