Basketball Recap: Freeman Takes a Loss

Freeman was the 56-45 winner over St. Maries when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Scotties might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Lumberjacks an easy 73-52 victory.

Freeman's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for St. Maries, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Freeman and St. Maries will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Scotties see the court they'll take on Warden at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026. As for St. Maries, their break will end when they face Kellogg at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
