Football Recap: Washburn Comes Up Short

After flying high against Winter/Birchwood last Thursday, Washburn came back down to earth. The Castle Guards took a blow against the Siren Dragons on Friday, falling 42-12.

Washburn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Siren, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Washburn will be playing at home against Shell Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Siren, they will head out on the road to challenge Clayton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Dragons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
