Volleyball Recap: Noblesville Comes Up Short

Noblesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Roncalli Royals, falling 3-0. The Millers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Royals from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

While Noblesville was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Roncalli's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-12.

Gael Esqueda paced Noblesville's offense, picking up ten kills. Esqueda got some help from Sam Wolf and his 11 assists.

Noblesville's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Roncalli, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Noblesville is set to face off against their familiar foe Carmel at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roncalli will square off against rival Guerin Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
