Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Capital City). They enjoyed a cozy 61-47 win over the Warrensburg Tigers on Thursday. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Tigers are ranked 453rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the victory, Capital City broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for Warrensburg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Capital City will venture away from home to square off against Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrensburg, they will host Pleasant Hill at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
