Baseball Recap: Waterford-Halfmoon Comes Up Short

Waterford-Halfmoon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They came up short against the Hoosick Falls Panthers, falling 9-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 on Thursday.

Logan Kelly made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Waterford-Halfmoon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Hoosick Falls, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Coincidentally, Waterford-Halfmoon and Hoosick Falls will both be playing Hoosic Valley the next time they take the field. The Fordians will head out to face the Hawks at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
