Volleyball Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Takes a Loss

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Alma Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-11.

Lauryn Ruda paced Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s offense, picking up eight kills. Ruda got some help from Klaire Pohl and her 13 assists. Pohl also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rilee Schutz, each putting up two.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Alma, their victory bumped their record up to 12-14.

While Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
