Baseball Recap: Crestwood Sets Scoring Season-High Against South Winneshiek

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crestwood). They blew past the South Winneshiek Warriors 10-3 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cadets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Crestwood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for South Winneshiek, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6.

Crestwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Waukon on the 13th. As for South Winneshiek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-3 victory against Janesville on the 12th.
