Midlothian put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the L.C. Bird Skyhawks get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. The Trojans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Lea Foldeneaur and Erika Fiege made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Foldeneaur pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Fiege pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Foldeneaur went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI, while Fiege went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Fiege a new career-high.
In other batting news, Charlotte Corcoran was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
