Basketball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Marion County took on Central on Monday. The Marion County Eagles came up short against the Central Hawks, falling 68-48. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 74-72.

Marion County has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

Marion County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 73-56 defeat against Taylor County on the 12th.
