Football Recap: Grand Junction Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Adams City last Friday, Grand Junction Central came back down to earth. The Warriors had to suffer through a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Skyline Falcons. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Grand Junction Central's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Skyline, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Grand Junction Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 56-20 defeat against Broomfield on the 17th. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-33 victory against Longmont on the 17th.
