Basketball Recap: Union Has No Trouble Against Grant Union

Union lost to Grant Union back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Union Bobcats blew past the Grant Union Prospectors 64-41. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Union pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Grant Union, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Union will challenge Weston-McEwen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weston-McEwen has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Grant Union, they will take on Stanfield at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
