Basketball Recap: Lakeside Lutheran Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Lakeside Lutheran won the last time they faced Wisconsin Dells, and Wes Rahn did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors walked away with a 44-32 win over the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs on Monday for which the team can thank Rahn, who to rack up 19 points and eight boards. His big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Wolfram, who posted five points and ten rebounds. What's more, he posted three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024.

Lakeside Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. Wisconsin Dells' loss dropped their record down to 19-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside Lutheran will take on Lake Mills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Mills will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lakeside Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wisconsin Dells, they will face off against Nekoosa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
