Basketball Recap: East Buchanan Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 53-12, which was the final score in the East Buchanan Bulldogs's tilt against the Lawrence Lions on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for East Buchanan and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Lawrence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

East Buchanan will take on Plattsburg in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lawrence and Shawnee Mission East will compete for holiday cheer on Friday.
