Volleyball Recap: Palmdale Academy Charter School Comes Up Short

Palmdale Academy Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Antelope Valley Antelopes.

Palmdale Academy Charter School actually scored more points across those five sets (104-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 16-25, 20-25, 16-14.

Palmdale Academy Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Antelope Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Palmdale Academy Charter School will challenge Santa Clarita Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Antelope Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Mojave on the 25th.
