Volleyball Recap: Princeton Eagles vs. Elk Creek Elks

Princeton waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Elk Creek Elks as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Princeton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mackenzie Wills, who had seven kills and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Wills a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Guadalupe Espinoza, who had five aces and a block.

Princeton's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10. As for Elk Creek, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Princeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elk Creek, they will challenge Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
