Softball Recap: Golden West Takes a Loss

Golden West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the El Diamante Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in April.

Reann Boyd made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Hayden Oliveira was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Golden West's record is now 14-12-1. As for El Diamante, their record now sits at 9-14-1.

As of now, neither Golden West nor the Miners have any future games scheduled.
