Basketball Recap: Greenway Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Greenway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the North Woods grizzlies with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-60. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 93-62 win the grizzlies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Greenway pushed their record up to 10-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for North Woods, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Greenway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-51 win against Carlton/Wrenshall on the 4th. As for North Woods, they will welcome Littlefork-Big Falls at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th.
