Volleyball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Takes a Loss

Triangle Math & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Franklin Academy Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

Triangle Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Franklin Academy, their victory ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Triangle Math & Science will challenge rival Voyager Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Franklin Academy is set to take on their familiar foe NCSSM: Durham at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
