The Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals will face off against the Heritage Mountaineers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Eagleton College & Career Academy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.

Kyla Long made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with five RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Eagleton College & Career Academy got a massive performance out of Karli Brabson, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Emma Garrett, who went 1-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Eagleton College & Career Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Heritage made easy work of Carter on Thursday and carried off a 20-2 win.
Payton Hasty tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Portlyn Bennett was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Rachel Hayes was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
The victory got Heritage back to even at 1-1. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0.
