Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood won against Westhope/Newburg last Tuesday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks came out on top against the Drake/Anamoose Raiders by a score of 61-53. That's more bragging rights for the Mavericks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Drake/Anamoose, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
