Football Game Recap: St. Mary's vs. Ar-We-Va

St. Mary's faced Ar-We-Va in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ar-We-Va put a hurting on St. Mary's to the tune of 49-12. Followers of Ar-We-Va probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

The win bumped Ar-We-Va's record up to 5-0. The defeat dropped St. Mary's' record to 3-2.

Next week Ar-We-Va take on Newell-Fonda at 7:00 PM. Each team will be battling to keep their 5-game winning streak alive. St. Mary's will look to defend their home turf against Harris-Lake Park at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
