Basketball Recap: Alliee Moede Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Rock County Christian

Mountain Top Christian won the last time they faced Rock County Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. Mountain Top Christian strolled past the Rock County Christian Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 51-36. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mountain Top Christian.

Mountain Top Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alliee Moede led the charge by putting up nine points in addition to eight assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Gracie Greeb, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 12 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Mountain Top Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rock County Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Top Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. As for Rock County Christian, they will head out to take on Maranatha Baptist on Monday.
