Basketball Recap: Danville Find Success

After losing to Winooski the last time they met, Danville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Danville Bears pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over the Winooski Spartans on Tuesday. The 42-point effort marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Danville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Winooski, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Danville beat Winooski by a score of 42-41 on Wednesday.
